About
Marina at Nuuk (Godthåb), the capital of Greenland, at the head of the Nuup Kangerlua fjord system — one of the world's most dramatic fjord environments. Nuuk is the starting and ending point for expeditions into western Greenland's iceberg-filled fjords and a waypoint for yachts on North Atlantic crossings. Icebergs calved from the Greenland Ice Sheet drift past the harbour entrance. The short Arctic summer season runs July to September. The Greenland Home Rule Government Port Authority manages the harbour. Exceptional wilderness sailing in the surrounding islands.
