Boaters are searching — but most operators are still hard to find

Right now, boaters search across Facebook groups, forum threads, scattered websites and word of mouth to find berths and moorings. Operators with real availability, waiting lists or visitor berths often never appear at all. BerthFinder changes that — a straightforward place to list your operation, be found by the right audience, and receive direct enquiries.

BerthFinder

Your marina listed clearly, direct enquiries to you, no commission

Why operators partner with BerthFinder

Verified listing across 22,000+ global marinas

Your marina sits alongside 22,000+ marinas and harbours across 220+ countries — the world's most comprehensive berthing directory.

Qualified enquiries with vessel specs pre-attached

Boaters save their vessel profile (LOA, draft, beam, shore power requirement) once. Every enquiry arrives with their full specs attached — no chasing for basic information.

Shore power matching built in

Superyacht operators tell us their amperage requirements (15A to 500A, single or 3-phase). We match vessels to berths that can actually accommodate them. No more mismatched bookings.

Demand intelligence dashboard

See what boaters in your region are actually searching for — vessel sizes, timing, berth types, shore power needs. Real demand data before you've even spoken to a boater.

Direct enquiries, zero commission

Enquiries go straight to you — no middleman, no booking platform, no commission. You control the conversation and the pricing.

Manage your listing yourself

Upload photos, update specs, respond to enquiries — all from your operator dashboard. No emailing us every time something changes.

Frequently asked questions

Who is BerthFinder for?
Marinas, harbours, yacht clubs, mooring operators, berth brokers and private berth owners — anyone who wants direct enquiries from boaters actively searching for berth space. Boaters use it for free; operators pay a flat fee for visibility and tooling.
Is there a fee to join BerthFinder?
No upfront fee. Free tier gives a basic verified listing once claimed. Premium tiers (£149/mo Operator, £249/mo Broker) unlock the full toolset — enquiries inbox, demand signals, featured placement and more. Private berth owners pay £39 once to list a single berth.
Do you take commission on bookings or enquiries?
No. Never. Enquiries go straight from the boater to you — we are not a booking platform, not an intermediary, and we do not touch the transaction.
How are enquiries handled?
Boaters submit enquiries via your listing. The enquiry lands in your inbox (and in your operator dashboard if you are on a paid tier). You respond directly. No middleman.
Can we control how availability is presented?
Yes — paid operators set their listing status to Available, Limited, Full, Seasonal or Enquire-only. Boaters see live status. When you are Full, boaters can join a waiting list and you are notified automatically.
What happens after we apply?
We verify your operation (ownership, legitimacy, or operational authority), then work with you on how your listing is presented — enquiry routing, access model, key public details. Then your profile goes live.
Can multi-site operators join?
Yes — group operators (e.g. Yacht Havens Group, Sorbon Estates) get a dedicated group page plus individual listings per site. Contact us for portfolio pricing.
I am a private berth owner — can I list my berth for sale or rent?
Yes — the £39 one-off Private Seller listing is for exactly this. Single berth, direct enquiries to you, live until sold or removed.
I am a broker with multiple berths — is there a package for me?
Yes — the £249/mo Broker plan gives you a portfolio dashboard, multiple listings under one account, priority placement and direct lead routing.
