About
Combe Martin is a small village tucked into a steep wooded valley on the North Devon coast, its harbour opening onto the Bristol Channel between Ilfracombe and Lynton. The harbour dries and is only suitable for vessels happy to take the ground. It is a stunning anchorage backed by dramatic cliffs, and the village above offers a pub, shops and the start of excellent walking country in Exmoor National Park — a worthwhile stop for any Bristol Channel passage.
